DIRECT SCHOOL ADMISSION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS (DSA – SEC)

CHIJ St. Theresa’s Convent invites current Primary Six students who seek to bring out the best in themselves through Sports as part of our distinctive programmes - our Learning for Life Programme (LLP), or our Performing Arts, to join the school through the 2026 Direct School Admission – Secondary (DSA-SEC) Exercise.

Parents and students are encouraged to choose schools wisely based on the student’s aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the school’s academic and non-academic requirements, and the programmes available to develop the area of talent.

Students who are successfully admitted to the school via DSA are expected to honour their commitment to the school, and participate in the activities related to the talent they are selected for during their secondary school years.

Centralised DSA-Sec Application Process
Application for DSA-Sec can be submitted through the online DSA-Sec Portal. The application is free-of-charge and will be open from 6 May 2026, 11am to 2 June 2026, 4.30pm.

All applications are considered by a selection panel comprising teachers, middle managers and school leaders.

6 May 2026, 11am to 2 June 2026, 4.30pm	Application is open for all Primary Six female students studying in national schools, Returning Singaporeans, Permanent Residents and International Students. Applications should be made via a common online portal from the 2026 DSA-Sec Exercise by MOE.
29 Jun 2026 – 28 Aug 2026	Shortlisted applicants will be contacted via phone/email, to come down to the school physically on a mutually convenient date/time to carry out a performance task, and undergo face-to-face interviews.
Between 17 and 28 Aug 2026	Notice of Selection Outcome for DSA-Sec application Letters will be issued to all candidates informing them on the status of their application: (i) Confirmed Offer (CO), (ii) Wait List (WL) or (iii) Rejected.
19 Oct 2026, 9am to 23 Oct 2026, 4.30pm	School Preference Submission (SPS)
Mid Nov 2026	DSA Allocation
Late Nov 2026	Release of DSA school posting results by MOE.

Talent Development Opportunities

Talent Area

Talent Area	Programmes, activities and/or opportunities that students can expect to participate in for each talent area
Hockey, Netball, Softball, Floorball, Track & Field (Throws, Sprints, Long-distance Track, and Cross-Country)	Successful DSA(LLP) applicants will have opportunities to participate in the National Schools Games, friendly competitions and overseas training trips. They will also have various opportunities to develop their leadership potential.
English Drama & Modern Dance	Successful DSA applicants will have opportunities to participate in the Singapore Youth Festival, external competitions and performances. They will also have various opportunities to develop their leadership potential.
